Software Engineer · Rzeszów, Poland

Remote / Hybrid · On-site Rzeszów

React and Next.js engineer. I ship accessible, fast frontends for government, memorial and open-source projects, and I like the parts other people skip: performance, a11y, the design system. Off the clock I write C#, Lua and whatever a hobby project needs.

experience

Frontend Software Engineer

Legacy.com via Kruko.io

  • Build and ship Next.js App Router applications in TypeScript and React 19 for one of the largest obituary and memorial platforms in the US. Performance work took Lighthouse scores from 40 to 60 up to a consistent 90+, which grew traffic and ad revenue.
  • Deliver PayloadCMS applications on PostgreSQL: collections, content models, generated types, media, and repairing migrations when they broke, so editors manage content without waiting on developers.
  • Build features with TanStack Query and Form on a shared Storybook design system with Tailwind CSS inside a Turborepo monorepo, so several applications reuse one set of components.
02.2025 - 06.2025

Software Engineer

Couchbase via Kruko.io

  • Built the open-source Couchbase Lite SDK in TypeScript for React Native and Ionic/Capacitor: local-first storage and replication against a distributed database, covered by Jest unit and integration tests, so apps keep working offline and reconcile on reconnect.
12.2024 - 03.2025

Frontend Software Engineer

Karbon via Kruko.io

  • Stabilised a large legacy Ember.js and jQuery codebase, clearing framework deprecations so the team could upgrade to Ember 4 safely.
07.2023 - 05.2024

Frontend Software Engineer

Kruko.io

  • Built a government housing portal for Texas residents in React and TypeScript, turning complex eligibility rules into multi-step forms residents complete on their own.
  • Semantic, WCAG-accessible, responsive HTML and CSS over REST APIs with JWT auth and protected routes, handling residents’ personal data on a high-availability public system.
07.2022 - 07.2023

Frontend Software Engineer

Kruko.io

  • Designed and built an internal CRM with React, TypeScript, Styled Components and Redux Toolkit over REST APIs, plus a reusable Storybook component library: time tracking, PTO, asset management, admin panels.

Hello,

Four years in, I still like the same things: a fast page, a clean component, a form that doesn’t fight the user.

Open to remote, hybrid, or on-site in Rzeszów. Say hi.
